For kids ages 0-5, our Punjabi Kudta Chadra and Complete Pehrawa pieces are hand-stitched on soft Giza Cotton at the base price tier — no age surcharge. This is our most ordered age range for first Lohri, naming ceremonies, first Vaisakhi, and early-childhood family events.

The 0-5 age tier includes infants (we hand-size for under-12-month babies on request via WhatsApp), toddlers (12-36 months), and preschool-age kids (3-5 years). Each piece is custom-cut to your child's actual measurements rather than off-the-shelf sizing.

Pricing for Ages 0-5

Kids Kudta Chadra (multicolour Morni Chandra): $125 USD — base price. Golden/silver variant: $145. Kids Complete Pehrawa bundle (Kudta + Jutti + Kaintha + Pagg with free worldwide shipping): $199. Accessories sold separately: Jutti $35, Kaintha $20, Pagg $25.

For ages 6-10 (clothing pieces add $5 surcharge), see our ages 6-10 collection. For ages 11-15 (clothing pieces add $10 surcharge), see ages 11-15. Accessories are flat-priced regardless of age.

Sizing Approach for Young Kids

For infants under 12 months: message Veerpal on WhatsApp before ordering. We need height, weight, and 1-2 specific measurements to hand-size the piece. For toddlers and preschoolers: standard size chart works, but we recommend ordering one size up so the outfit fits through the next 6-12 months as the child grows.

For families thinking ahead: with proper care (hand wash, air dry, store in cotton bag), our Giza Cotton hand-stitched pieces typically last 5-7 years across 2-3 children. Many families intentionally size up for hand-down use across siblings — see our sibling hand-down guide.

What if my child grows out of the size between order and delivery?: Order one size up to give yourself 6-12 months of wear. For tight-fit milestones (specific photo session at a specific weight), message Veerpal on WhatsApp and she'll guide on whether to wait or order now.
Can I get matching outfits for two kids in this age range?: Yes — see our sibling matching outfit collection. For 2+ kids in the 0-5 range, place orders together with a note "sibling set" and we coordinate the colour palette across pieces.
Are the accessories (Jutti, Kaintha, Pagg) really needed for ages 0-5?: For naming ceremonies and first Lohri, the Pagg is the most important accessory (visually defines the traditional look). The Jutti and Kaintha are nice-to-have but not always practical for infants and crawlers. The Complete Pehrawa bundle includes all four for the best photo result; à la carte ordering of just the kurta + Pagg is also a valid choice.
