Kids Girls Punjabi Suit & Dress

Hand-stitched in Bathinda. Shipped worldwide.

Our Kids Girls collection covers Punjabi suits, lehenga choli, sharara sets and ethnic dresses for girls ages 0-15 — each one hand-stitched and made to your daughter's measurements at our Bathinda workshop, not pulled from graded off-the-shelf sizes.

Girls' ethnic wear is the hardest category for diaspora families to buy well. Retail sizing overseas assumes a body shape that often does not match, dupatta lengths are wrong for younger children, and the hand-work is usually machine-simulated. Everything here is cut to measurement and finished by hand, in the same workshop and to the same standard as our boys' Morni Chandra pieces.

What Is in the Collection

Four garment families: Punjabi suits (kameez, salwar and dupatta — the everyday-traditional choice for gurudwara and family functions); lehenga choli (fitted blouse with a flared skirt — the formal wedding and sangeet option); sharara sets (flared trouser and short kurti, currently the most requested by younger girls); and ethnic dresses (single-piece, simplest to wear for toddlers and newborns).

For a coordinated look across siblings — a girl in a suit or lehenga alongside a brother in a Kudta Chadra — see our sibling sets collection, where we colour-match fabrics and embroidery across both outfits.

Sizing and Fit for Growing Girls

We stitch ages 0-15. Girls' sizing uses a 7-point measurement (chest, waist, kameez or choli length, shoulder, sleeve, salwar or lehenga length, and dupatta preference) — more points than boys' Kudta Chadra because the silhouette is less forgiving. Veerpal walks through each measurement on WhatsApp before any fabric is cut.

For occasions that are months away, we can build controlled growth room into the hem and waist so the outfit still fits on the day. Our sizing for growth guide explains how much room to add and when it is better to simply order closer to the date.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ages do you make girls' outfits for?
Ages 0-15, all made to measurement rather than standard sizes. That includes newborn and toddler ethnic dresses at the youngest end and full Punjabi suits or lehenga choli for teens.
Can you match a girl's outfit to her brother's Kudta Chadra?
Yes — this is one of our most common requests. We colour-match fabric and echo the embroidery motif across both outfits. Browse sibling sets or message Veerpal on WhatsApp with both children's details.
Is the embroidery hand-done on girls' pieces too?
Yes. The same Bathinda artisans and the same hand-stitching that goes into our Morni Chandra series. Hand-work on lehenga and sharara sets adds 2-4 days to the stitching timeline.
How far ahead should I order for a wedding?
Plan 4-6 weeks. Girls' formal pieces (lehenga choli, heavy sharara sets) take 2-4 weeks of stitching plus 7-14 days international shipping. See the stitching timeline guide.
